The WomXn's Bathroom
The Girlhood Collective was inspired by the magic of the WomXn’s bathroom on a night out; the instant sisterhood, sharing of stories, shitty bosses/partners and makeup!
Fixing each others crowns, wiping the tears, sharing sanitary products, safety pins, life advice, photo shoots, singing at the top of our lungs, encouraging and hyping each other up, and leaving that bathroom feeling INVINCIBLE!
Sunehna's Story
My sisterhood started with my actual sisters, all 5 of them!
Even though we all had our own hurdles to overcome growing up, we were always each other’s biggest hype girls. Picking each other up and encouraging each other to be brave and bold every step of the way whilst navigating our formulative years, and for that, I will always be grateful for them.
We spent many mornings hungover, laying in bed laughing about the antics from the night before, and all of the beautiful chaos that happened, often in the womXn’s bathroom.
I’ve been estranged from my family for almost 10 years now, which was probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. We had quite a tumultuous upbringing, experiencing a lot of trauma, that effected us all differently, and caused us all to have different coping mechanisms, which resulted in me having to come away from them, for my own mental health.
But one of the most difficult challenges, was not just losing my family security, but also my biggest cheerleaders, my sisters!
Everyone needs cheerleaders, and that’s why I wanted to build a whole community of them!
